Health Insurance Post Divorce

Many divorcing spouses have health insurance coverage through their husband’s or wife’s employment. Usually that coverage ends once the divorce is final because employers won’t allow ex- spouses to be included in the insurance coverage. If the company is big enough, the spouse losing her health insurance will be able to continue the insurance if she pays for it for a certain time period because of COBRA: the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act. Home Prices Tumbling

I recently had a chance to discuss property values and sale of real estate in Clark County with Rowena Lusby with Windemere Stellar Group and she forwarded me a link to an article of interest. Rowena said,” This is an excellent summary of what is taking place in our current housing market. Our listings are up over 3300, in our local RMLS, and our pending ratios are down to 22%. During the first time homebuyer credit we had a pending ratio as high as 31%. Things are looking up for buyers.”

Hollywood Divorces

Sometimes clients believe that if you have enough money, you can hire an aggressive attorney who will win on every issue.
